Job Title: Paraplanner
Location:Amersham
Salary: Up to £50,000 dependant on experience
About the Role:
A well-established financial planning firm is seeking a highly experienced and proactive Paraplanner / Practice Manager to join its close-knit team. This is a senior position supporting the Director and playing a key role in the day-to-day operations of the firm. The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to turn their hand to a broad range of tasks within a small team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality paraplanning support, including detailed research, analysis, and suitability report writing across pensions, investments, and protection.
Work closely with the Director to manage client cases and ensure a smooth client journey.
Oversee the operational functions of the office, helping to coordinate tasks and support team members as needed.
Maintain accurate records and ensure files are fully compliant.
Liaise with clients, product providers, and professional connections as required.
Assist with process improvements and the implementation of best practices.
Requirements:
Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent).
Extensive paraplanning experience in an IFA or wealth management environment.
Comfortable working in a small team and taking on a variety of responsibilities.
Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, and taxation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Proficient in financial planning software and Microsoft Office.
