Our client a leading Medical Device manufacturer is looking to appoint an experienced and creative Certified Software Developer in this position you shall be working as part of the IT Department, this role is to oversee, maintain and improve the technological infrastructure and resources within the organization to ensure they align with the company's goals and objectives. This includes developing bespoke software to track and manage operations within the organization, validate software solutions and ensure integration with our NetSuite ERP System.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Software Development: Ability to create bespoke software using MySQL, PHP, JavaScript and HTML. Ability to validate software to meet CFR 820 Part 11 and other related medical device requirements. Proficient using API’s to communicate between software platforms including Microsoft 365 to create bespoke business reports, dashboards and other customizations.

NetSuite SuiteScript Support: Adapt the NetSuite system to configure reports and scripts (using SuiteScript), customize and integrate with other systems to support all applicable departments, and business processes to optimize efficiency.

User Support: Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshooting software issues, training, and ensuring a high level of employee satisfaction.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate software development and validation documentation following the relevant quality management procedures.

Technology Evaluation and Adoption: Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends, evaluate their potential to improve business operations and drive innovation, recommending new technologies and solutions as needed. Website Support: As required provide additional website/development support to colleagues.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE JOB

Education Required: NetSuite Certified Developer (or similar ERP)

Education Preferred: ITIL Foundation or above

A degree or higher national diploma (HND) in any subject or equivalent work experience

Years of related experience: 5+ years software development experience

REQUIREMENTS:

• Development skills and experience required include SuiteScript (for Netsuite), MySQL, PHP, JavaScript and HTML

• Software validation experience (within a highly regulated environment)

• Appreciation of quality and regulatory requirements of a medical device business
