Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant- Experienced School Support Staff required in Amersham, Buckinghamshire - Do you hold experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and/or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? - Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant seeking new and rewarding opportunities within education?

Tradewind are currently supporting and working collaboratively with an Ofsted 'Outstanding' School in Amersham, Buckinghamshire that cater for both Primary and Secondary aged pupils who require 1:1 support, tailored to their direct needs. The School are seeking new support staff members, with opportunities for Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant and more, beginning as soon as June 2025.

Do you meet the required criteria for this role?...

  • Ideally qualified at degree level - desirable, not essential to those with child-based experience.
  • Child-Based Work Experience - ideally within an educational setting.
  • Positive Behaviour Management Skills.
  • Experience supporting Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Experience supporting Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH).
  • SEN-specific qualifications (desirable).
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Enhanced DBS Checked, with valid subscription to the Update Service (or willing to apply for this).
  • Based within Amersham, or reliably commutable to this area.
