About the Role
A leading high-tech electronics manufacturer is seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to join their expanding Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive quality professional to play a key role in enhancing business systems and driving continuous improvement across a modern, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
As Quality Systems Engineer, you'll support the development and implementation of the Business Management System (BMS), lead internal audits, support external compliance requirements, and champion best practice aligned to industry standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and AS 9100.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the company's Business Management System and digital platforms in line with strategic goals.
- Lead and support internal audit schedules and conduct audits to relevant standards.
- Support external audits from regulatory and certification bodies, customers, and partners.
- Oversee document control activities and update system documentation as needed.
- Actively participate in root cause investigations using 8D, Ishikawa, and 5 WHY methodologies.
- Generate weekly and monthly performance reports to inform leadership decisions.
- Deputise for the QHSE Manager as required.
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years of quality systems experience within a manufacturing setting (medical, aerospace, automotive, or similar).
- Certified or experienced internal auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or AS 9100.
- Excellent knowledge of quality standards and good documentation practices.
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills, with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Desirable:
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Practical experience or knowledge of electronics manufacturing.
