My client is a well-recognised manufacturing business currently looking to appoint a Facilities Manager at their site in Andover. This is a key role, responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe, and compliant operation of all site facilities. You will be instrumental in delivering an efficient and sustainable workplace environment, supporting both day-to-day operations and long-  improvement projects. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in facilities management within a manufacturing setting, with strong knowledge of building systems, contractor supervision, and health & safety legislation.   • Oversee daily operations of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, security, and general building systems
  • Manage and coordinate contractors and service providers for maintenance, compliance, and repairs
  • Lead health and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies
  • Develop and manage the facilities budget while tracking energy use, efficiency, and sustainability goals
  • Plan and deliver capital improvement and refurbishment projects with minimal disruption to business
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Proven background in facilities management within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance routines, and safety regulations
  • Confident managing service contracts, external providers, and facilities budgets
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to lead operational projects from planning to completion
