Forklift Driver Counterbalance

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, and unload pallets safely and efficiently.

Duties

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport pallets as instructed
• Load and unload pallets from trucks, ensuring proper handling techniques are used.
• Maintain an organised warehouse by ensuring that pallets are stored in designated areas and that aisles are clear.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure it is in safe working condition; report any maintenance issues as needed.
• Assist with heavy lifting and materials handling as required, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting is essential.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Organisational skills with attention to detail in managing materials handling tasks.
