Quality Manager
Due to the success of ongoing expansion, we are recruiting on behalf of a successful business who require a Quality Manager to work in Andover site. The role is full time (Monday - Friday 08.00 - 16.30), permanent and offers a competitive salary of up to circa £45K per year.
The company who have been growing significantly over the last few years can offer a great office environment and a busy, interesting and varied role for the right person. We are looking for a self-starter with a good deal of experience within a Quality Supervisory or Quality management role.
You will have one direct report and are responsible for overseeing the quality operations of a sub section of the company.
Quality Manager daily responsibilities include:
- Carrying out and reviewing First Article Inspection Reports
- Inspection of goods -in/out
- Managing non-conformances and writing corrective action reports
- Investigate returned goods
- Make recommendations based on test data
- Creating reports and records
- Arrange certification of calibrations
- Conducting Vendor Assessments
- Carry out inspection of incoming goods, including works orders and to write up reports
Quality Manager Essential skills and experience:
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015
- Strong understanding of technical drawings
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain high standards at all times
- Supervisory/managerial experience or you are looking for the next step in your career
- Calm and methodical approach in a fast paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- You are organised, meticulous and will set standards for others
- Team player mentality
The role of Quality Manager would suit an experienced quality professional who has worked within an engineering or similar industry. We are open to receiving applicants who have some supervisory experience and wish to progress.
