We are seeking an experienced and efficient Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join our property department. This role is ideal for someone who is hardworking, has a positive attitude, and enjoys working as part of a team. The successful candidate will thrive in a pressurised environment, reacting to changing deadlines and priorities in a professional manner.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Deal with day-to-day Conveyancing administration.
  • Type dictated letters, contracts, leases, and other documentation.
  • Answer and make calls to clients, other solicitors, mortgage lenders, and estate agents.
  • Give quotations for routine transactions.
  • Prepare post-exchange and post-completion documentation.
  • Prepare and submit SDLT returns and Land Registry applications.
  • Complete Local Authority and other relevant pre-exchange searches.
  • Handle the initial stages of Conveyancing transactions.
  • Liaise directly with clients to manage expectations and provide updates on the progress of cases.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven audio typing skills.
  • Proactive and able to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong IT proficiency.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Conveyancing role.
