We are seeking an experienced and efficient Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join our property department. This role is ideal for someone who is hardworking, has a positive attitude, and enjoys working as part of a team. The successful candidate will thrive in a pressurised environment, reacting to changing deadlines and priorities in a professional manner.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Deal with day-to-day Conveyancing administration.
- Type dictated letters, contracts, leases, and other documentation.
- Answer and make calls to clients, other solicitors, mortgage lenders, and estate agents.
- Give quotations for routine transactions.
- Prepare post-exchange and post-completion documentation.
- Prepare and submit SDLT returns and Land Registry applications.
- Complete Local Authority and other relevant pre-exchange searches.
- Handle the initial stages of Conveyancing transactions.
- Liaise directly with clients to manage expectations and provide updates on the progress of cases.
- Proven audio typing skills.
- Proactive and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong IT proficiency.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Conveyancing role.
