Production Technician - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Location: Andover
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am-4:15pm, Friday 8am-4pm
Salary: Attractive - Depending on Experience

Do you enjoy electrical work, plumbing, or tinkering in your spare time? Are you someone who loves working with your hands and solving practical problems? Our client is looking for a hands-on Production Technician to join their team on a 6-month fixed term contract.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble products and sub-assemblies using kits, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
  • Test units to ensure quality and accuracy before packing
  • Create and update build notes for new and existing units
  • Carry out workshop tasks such as soldering and component modifications using lathe and mill
  • Complete documentation including Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Corrective Action Reports (CARs)
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to meet production deadlines
