Cleanroom Technician

The Cleanroom Technician role is working for a manufacturer in the Andover area. The role is Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 5pm, with an early finish of 3:30pm on a Friday. The role is permanent and is paying up to £28,228 depending on experience.

As the Cleanroom Technician, you will operate, set up and safely shut down cleanroom manufacturing equipment. You will assemble microelectronic components according to specifications, ensuring careful handling to prevent damage. You will monitor product quality and manufacturing processes to maintain high standards and keep accurate production records in line with quality systems. You will identify and report any process or product issues, taking corrective action where necessary. You will support routine equipment maintenance with the maintenance team and assist with process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste and enhance quality. Additionally, you will manage production stock, including checking kits, inspecting customer parts and controlling consumables.

You will need:

• Previous experience working within a cleanroom environment
• Previous Electrical/Electronics experience is desirable
• Experience operating machinery, using hand tools or operating microscopes is beneficial
• A keen eye for detail
• The ability to work and adhere to work instructions and guidelines
