Are you an experienced Team Leader who has experience managing teams of up to 30? Do you have experience working within production and cleanroom environments? If so, this Production Team Manager position is perfect for you!

The Production Team Manager position is working for a manufacturer in the Andover area. The working hours for the role are Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5pm, and an early finish of 3:30pm Friday. The role is paying up to £45,000 depending on experience.

As the Production Team Manager, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations within your team, ensuring everyone is working effectively towards shared goals. You’ll lead by example, set clear objectives and create a positive and productive work environment that encourages collaboration and high performance. Acting as the key link between your team and senior management, you’ll communicate updates, provide feedback and make sure everyone stays aligned with business priorities. You’ll monitor team and production performance, analyse results and put improvement plans in place where needed. Supporting your team’s growth is also an important part of the role you’ll coach, mentor and provide training opportunities to help individuals develop their skills. Day to day, you’ll oversee production schedules, track performance and resolve any issues that could impact output, such as material shortages or process delays. You’ll also manage inventory levels, prepare reports and make data-driven decisions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

You will need:

  • Previous experience leading and coaching teams of around 30 individuals
  • Previous experience within manufacturing, production or cleanroom environments
  • Experience developing and mentoring colleagues for their own development
  • Experience working to standards such as ISO9001, ISO13485 and AS9100
  • Experience managing production schedules, tracking performance and navigating any issues that arise
