We are seeking a Junior Buyer / Purchasing Administrator to join a busy team in Andover. This is a great opportunity for someone with purchasing experience or an electrical wholesaling background who is looking to develop their career in procurement.
Main Duties
- Raise and process purchase orders accurately and on time
- Order and manage materials for ongoing projects
- Coordinate with electricians in the field to ensure timely deliveries
- Liaise with suppliers and negotiate lead times where needed
- Work closely with internal teams to support smooth operations
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and stock levels
Skills and Knowledge
- 1–2 years’ purchasing, procurement, or buying experience or experience in an electrical wholesaler environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to prioritise and work well in a fast-paced environment
Salary and Benefits
- Salary: £30,000 per annum
- Hours: between 8:00am – 6:00pm – 40 hours
- 21 days holiday + bank holidays
