A supportive primary school in Andover is seeking a dedicated and patient SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This full-time role begins in November 2025 and involves working closely with pupils who have special educational needs, helping them to access learning and thrive in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN.
- Assist the class teacher with differentiated learning activities and classroom management.
- Support pupils with emotional, behavioural, and academic needs.
- Help create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs in a primary setting.
- A calm, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting pupils.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Availability to start in November and work full-time.
