MS585 - Warehouse OperativeSalary: £26,000 per annumLocation: AndoverOverview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative on behalf of one of our clients. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that all goods, loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork.
  • Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures.
  • Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Managers.
  • Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment.
  • Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods.
  • Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules.
  • Assisting with warehouse inventory controls.
  • Painting of assets when required.
  • Servicing and testing of assets when required.
  • Dispensing and transferring of fuel.
  • Inspection and confidence checking of all hose sizes and variances.
  • Act as cover as a driver installer assisting the engineers and installing/deinstalling portable HVAC equipment.
  • Represent the company and values of the business to portray a professional image to customers, potential customers and other people you meet in the course of your work.
  • Carry out ad hoc tasks where and when required.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Physically capable to carry out heavy workload.
  • Working well as part of a team.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Work well under own initiative.
  • Being proactive without supervision.
  • Demonstrate strong teamworking skills between colleagues across the whole service team.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience of HVAC equipment.
  • Previous mechanical experience.
