With creative, production, technical and scenic construction all in-house, this agency is a one stop shop for a range of events, experiences and communications and work across a wide range of sectors including automotive, retail, finance and media.

THE ROLE

There is now an exciting opportunity for a Technical Operations Assistant to join this agency.  As Technical Operations Assistant, you are responsible for supporting the technical department by liaising with the AV project management team in planning, preparing, ordering, and delivering all or partial technical aspects of an event.

Working from the project design stage, getting involved in supplier quotations and project proposals, you will support in developing technical supplier relationships across the business and assist with purchasing sub hires. Working closely with Technical Project Managers and Head of Technical, key responsibilities include:

-    Supporting the administration of databases, software and processes used in the day-to-day running of the department

-    Creating/reviewing and editing equipment picking lists

-    Assisting in planning all deliveries and collections to and from the department

-    Assisting and support with the preparation and return of technical equipment

 

THE CANDIDATE

We are looking for candidates that have experience working within the events industry - from an operations, production or technical background. It is important that you come with exception organisational skills, where you can schedule and manage production workload to ensure delivery and profitability is maximised.  Great computer skills and a working understanding of Microsoft office 365 package as essential for this role.
