Our client, a leading company in the aerospace sector, is currently seeking an Electronics Engineering Specialist to join their Braking Systems division at their state-of-the-art facility in Coventry.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing teams
  • Visit local suppliers to support Electronics Manufacturing and Test operations
  • Manage the life cycle of various platforms in a continuous improvement environment
  • Develop and enhance designs, processes, and tools using your expertise
  • Build and maintain a strong network with senior professionals internally and externally
  • Make technical decisions with relative autonomy while seeking specialist guidance for complex issues
  • Create high-quality, professional presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare clear and technically accurate design documentation and present this to customers


Job Requirements:



Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with relevant experience
  • Knowledge of Aerospace Electronics, Manufacturing Test processes, and Component Obsolescence
  • Comprehensive understanding of technical principles, theories, and concepts in electronics
  • Significant expertise in applying design processes and procedures, with the ability to train others
  • Excellent communication skills, with a professional and positive demeanour
  • Understanding of commercially sensitive information and the ability to manage it appropriately
  • A curious and inquisitive mind


Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Altium, Jira, DOORS, Matlab, LABVIEW, LTSpice, pSPICE, and MS Office 365
