Are you friendly, organised and passionate about helping people? Belfast Health & Social Care Trust is looking for a part-time Receptionist to join our busy front-of-house team, providing a warm welcome and vital support to patients, visitors and staff.
About the role

  • Greet patients and visitors in a polite, professional and compassionate manner
  • Answer telephone and in-person enquiries, directing people to the right service
  • Book, amend and cancel appointments using our computer systems
  • Check patient details and maintain accurate records
  • Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to keep the service running smoothly
  • Help ensure the reception area is tidy, calm and welcoming at all times

What we're looking for

  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • A calm, reassuring manner and a commitment to patient care
  • Good attention to detail and basic IT skills
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
  • Previous reception or customer service experience is an advantage, but not essential
