Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Forklift Truck (FLT) Drivers to join a well-organised, dynamic team within a clean, modern working environment. This role involves transporting liquid loads, and due to the nature of the cargo, prior experience working with sensitive or volatile goods is preferred. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment and must maintain the highest safety standards while managing your load efficiently.
As part of the team, you will play an integral role in maintaining a clean and safe working environment, ensuring adherence to strict Health & Safety regulations at all times. You will also have the opportunity to showcase your skills by completing an on-site assessment to ensure you're fit for the role and fully capable of handling the required tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate the FLT to transport liquid loads within the warehouse or designated area
- Ensure the safety of all loads being transported, following best practices for handling volatile or sensitive materials
- Maintain a clean working environment, ensuring that all areas are kept free of hazards and comply with site cleanliness standards
- Follow all Health & Safety regulations, ensuring that every task is performed in a safe and compliant manner
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required, including unloading and stacking products, while maintaining stock accuracy
- Be part of a well-organised team, working together to meet operational targets and uphold cleanliness standards across the site
- Complete an on-site assessment to demonstrate competence with FLT equipment and safety protocols
- Ensure that all records, including maintenance logs and safety checks, are completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Report any faults or issues with equipment to the supervisor immediately to ensure quick resolution
What We're Looking For:
- Valid FLT licence (counterbalance, reach, or both preferred)
- Proven experience working with liquid or hazardous loads (preferred)
- Strong Health & Safety awareness, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Ability to work as part of a cohesive team, contributing to overall operational success
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow operational procedures
- Must be willing to complete an on-site assessment to demonstrate skills and ensure suitability for the role
- Reliable with a strong work ethic, with the ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines
- Ability to commute to the site regularly and punctually

Pay:
- Basic (Mon-Fri): 13.00/hour
- Saturday: 19.50/hour
- Sunday: 26.00/hour
- Night Shift Allowance: +20%
- Mon-Fri: 15.60/hour
- Saturday: 22.10/hour
- Sunday: 28.60/hour
Shifts: Continental pattern (rotating days and nights)
