We are proud to be working with a special educational needs’ school in the Nottingham area to find enthusiastic and experienced teaching assistants.
When working with children with special educational needs you need to be patient, highly understanding and naturally caring.

 To be a successful SEND teaching assistant, you will need –
- To have sensitivity and understanding
- To be patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- To have active listening skills
- To be able to look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare.
- To be flexible and open to change
- To have excellent verbal communication skills
- To be able to adapt teaching support according to student's needs.
Other essential requirements include:
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure on the update service is an advantage but we can apply for one for you if needed.
- Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable).
- Professional reference checks.
- CV must cover the last 5 years of employment history where possible.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
