Credit Controller

Description

• Manage the accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and timely updates.
• Chase overdue payments via phone, email, and written communication.
• Resolve queries related to invoicing and payments efficiently.
• Maintain and update customer credit limits, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Provide regular reports on outstanding debts and payment trends to the finance team.
• Work closely with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
• Support month-end and year-end financial reporting tasks as required.
• Assist with ad hoc administrative duties within the accounting and finance department.

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

• Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable management.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• Knowledge of accounting and finance principles within the business services industry.
