Financial Adviser – Inherit £60m Client Book | Arundel | £60k–£85k + Bonus + LTIP

A high-growth and well-capitalised wealth management firm is seeking a professional, client-centric Financial Adviser to join its Arundel-based team. The firm is known for combining whole-of-market advice with modern infrastructure, robust compliance, and a strong culture of collaboration. With private equity backing and a clear growth strategy, it offers advisers an exceptional platform for long-term career development.

Work Type: Hybrid (2–3 days per week office/client meetings)

Salary up to £85,000, realistic bonus potential earnings £110,000

This is a rare opportunity to inherit a well-maintained client book with c.£60 million AUM, centred around West Sussex and the surrounding area. The client portfolio is being transitioned from a long-standing Adviser who is retiring and will be actively involved in the handover, ensuring a smooth and relationship-led transition.

The role combines the security of an existing income stream with the autonomy to grow through referrals, professional introducers, and business development support.

Responsibilities

  • Take over an established portfolio of high-value clients (circa £60m AUM)
  • Conduct in-depth financial reviews, offering tailored advice across pensions, investments, tax planning, protection, and estate planning
  • Maintain high client retention through proactive servicing and relationship management
  • Leverage support from a regional team of paraplanners and administrators to streamline report writing and compliance
  • Identify opportunities to grow AUM through referrals and network building
  • Collaborate with peers across the business to share best practice and enhance client outcomes

Requirements

  • Experience as a Financial Adviser/Planner
  • Level 4 Diploma qualified (with Chartered status preferred or in progress)
  • Proven ability to manage and grow a portfolio of HNW clients
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning strategies, and retirement income solutions
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
