This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established supplier in a specialist sector, in a role that's all about developing customer accounts and driving growth.

This newly created position is designed to focus on existing "house accounts," re-engaging lapsed customers and maximising opportunities with regular buyers. It's a sales role with a difference - no cold calling, no aggressive selling - just building strong relationships, spotting opportunities, and ensuring customers feel supported and valued.

The Role

As an Internal Account Manager, you'll:

  • Proactively manage a portfolio of house accounts to grow sales and engagement.
  • Reconnect with lapsed or infrequent customers through outbound calling.
  • Build long-term customer relationships that lead to sustainable sales.
  • Record interactions and manage follow-ups through the CRM system.
  • Work closely with the Head of Sales to prioritise key opportunities.
  • Provide cover and support to the wider sales team when needed.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Confident, personable, and engaging on the phone.
  • Experienced in sales or account management, ideally B2B.
  • Proactive, organised, and disciplined with CRM systems.
  • A self-starter with ambition to develop and progress in their career.
  • A team player who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues.

Industry knowledge is not essential - training will be provided. What matters most is your sales drive, communication skills, and ability to build relationships.
