Sales Manager

Location: Bracknell - Office Based

Salary: Competitive

My client who are based in Bracknell and are withing the technology/IT industry, are seeking a Sales Manager to come on and join their fast growing team. To qualify for this role you would need previous experience managing and leading a team of sales professionals, ideally within the IT and B2B/Channel Sales environment. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and performance driven.

Key Responsibilities

Drive progress with projects, tasks and initiatives started by the HoS, support with coordinating and delivering activities with resellers, end-users and off-site meetings

Support the channel manager with meetings, events and training on-site and off-site.

Manage, motivate and coach an inside sales team and promote a positive proactive culture where tasks are handled by the team and they are held accountable for their performance.

Contribute and collaborate on ideas, opportunities and blockers as part of your immediate team and the wider group on topics such as passing leads, sharing information on market and pricing trends to dominate market share

Working proactively with your team to exceed team and group sales targets along with your own

Assist sales operations with allocating correct sales figures to the correct salesperson in order to pay

correct sales commission to the individual team member

Execute sales analysis, prepare sales, forecasting reports and suggest improvements to have correct warehouse stock according to sales forecasts

Prepare regular internal reports including stock, backorders, and performance.

Use customer feedback to generate ideas and feedback market trends about new feature or product requirements

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Solid demonstratable working experience as a Sales Manager or team leader with understanding of channel/distribution and/or indirect sales.

A go-getter with a positive attitude and a passion for sales

Hands on experience with CRM software (MS Dynamics in use)

Proven people skills leading, managing, coaching, mentoring and team management skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Financial and budgetary experience and awareness.

Logical and organised, excellent at multi-tasking, able to plan and structure their day to achieve KPI’s.

Proactive with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.

Positively questions the status quo to achieve a better outcome.

Able to provide and receive constructive feedback and act on this with a genuine desire to improve own and colleagues’ performance.
