Senior Sales Operations Executive

CantelloTayler Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Senior Sales Operations Executive for our client based in Ascot, Berkshire. The role is office based working Monday - Friday 9am- 5.30pm. Competitive salary and benefits.

Senior Sales Operations Executive Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the sales CRM system, ensuring the organisation is leveraging data to increase sales activities, analytics, presentations and reports.
  • Create departmental reports as required by management to include but not limited to, the creation and checking of month end reports and pricelist updates, end user number tracking, reseller sales reports, CRM system completeness monthly reports etc.
  • Act as the CRM administrator across the Company, managing and coordinating change requests and updates as needed.
  • Collecting, organising, and presenting sales data and metrics to the sales team
  • Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and reports for both internal and external meetings when required.
  • Support the sales team creation of key sales quotations, proposals, and agreements based on customer requirements
  • Ensure timely processing of orders and resolve any order or delivery issues in coordination with business support.
  • Support the Sales Manager in coordinating meetings, events, and travel arrangements and when required coordinate actions/activities on behalf of the Sales Manager during absents.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the pricing database and price lists.
  • Approving special price requests within authorisation guidelines
  • Responsible for the management and maintenance of the sales loan database.
  • Producing monthly sales report for global HQ
  • Maintain the sales playbook which is currently being developed by the Senior Leadership Team
  • Crafting/creating seamless and impactful processes to support the sales and marketing teams.
  • Generate regular reports for sales analysis and performance tracking.
  • Ensure sales team maintains accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and transactions in CRM systems.
  • Manage the monthly sales product volume forecast into the dispo report.
  • Monitor inventory levels and liaise with the operations team for product availability.
  • End to end management of the CRM, increasing sales activities through the management of data
  • Working proactively with the wider sales team to exceed team and group sales targets along with own.
  • Keep up to date, accurate records of activities so these can be tracked against performance in achieving assigned KPIs.
  • Work with internal teams collaborating on CRM activities, to ensure efficient processes are created and delivered within and across the organisation.
  • Prepare and conduct CRM training for new and existing staff when required.
  • Ensure responsible handling of internal and customer data in line with GDPR and best practices.
  • Coordinate new starter inductions when required.
  • To support and drive any new technology, processes and efficiencies introduced across the Company with the sales and marketing team.

Senior Sales Operations Executive Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Excellent demonstrable experience of working with CRM systems as a "superuser" or "pointperson"ideally Microsoft Dynamics
  • Intermediate to advance experience level of MS office.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of numeracy and accuracy.
  • Confident in building relationships and communicating internal and externally in person, over Teams/telephone and email.
  • Confident presenter, able to create and present meaningful data to internal sales teams.
  • Demonstrates a "customer" first approach and is proactive and professional in resolving any challenge that they are faced with.
  • Able to communicate clearly and confidently via telephone, face to face and via email. Is self-aware with the ability to actively listen, adjust and ask relevant questions
  • Logical, organised and flexible when needed, able to multi-task, plan and structure their day to achieve targets/objectives/KPIs/management requirements.
  • Can negotiate and influence at all levels and builds credible networks
  • Works well under pressure, able to make good judgements, decisions and meet conflicting deadlines
  • Resilient and tenacious, able to work at pace and adapt to change. Proactive with a positive attitude and a strong team player.
  • Understanding of GDPR and best practice for customer data management.
  • Ideally experienced in working within a sales and marketing team.
