We are seeking a dedicated Physics Teacher to join our Science Department and contribute to our school’s mission of preparing citizens for today’s world and the future. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Physics and a commitment to providing high-quality education.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Maintain and develop your knowledge and understanding of Physics, keeping abreast of wider curriculum developments.
  • Plan and deliver lessons that meet individual learning needs and utilise opportunities for learning outside the classroom.
  • Communicate learning objectives clearly and employ a range of teaching strategies to maintain high levels of behaviour and discipline.
  • Monitor, assess, record, and report on pupil progress, setting well-grounded expectations based on prior attainment.
  • Engage in professional development to improve teaching practices and pupil learning outcomes.
  • Contribute actively to the school’s policies, aspirations, and extra-curricular programme, including organising and managing school Physics trips.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A thorough and up-to-date knowledge of Physics teaching.
  • Proven planning, teaching, and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to assess and report on pupil progress effectively.
  • Commitment to professional development and school objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish cooperative working relationships with colleagues.
  • Experience in organising and managing educational trips is desirable.
