Back of House Manager

Location: Ascot, Berkshire

Casna is a trusted partner to some of the most prestigious clients in the luxury hospitality sector. We are now looking for an experienced and motivated Back of House Manager to oversee stewarding and kitchen support operations for one of our flagship clients in Ascot.

In this role, you will take responsibility for all back of house and kitchen areas, working closely with chefs and culinary teams to deliver seamless service for day to day operations as well as VIP events. A vital part of your role will be leading, supporting, and developing our team of kitchen porters, the heroes who ensure everything behind the scenes runs to World-Class standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate and manage the kitchen porter team.
  • Build strong working relationships with chefs and kitchen teams to support smooth service.
  • Oversee all back of house and kitchen areas, ensuring cleanliness, organisation and efficiency.
  • Take responsibility for staff training and development, ensuring team members have the skills needed to excel.
  • Create and manage rotas to ensure full coverage and efficient team operation.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health & safety, and client requirements.
  • Manage logistics and support for high-profile and VIP events.
  • Take ownership of stock control, equipment care, and supplier relationships.

About You:

  • Proven leadership experience in stewarding, back of house, or kitchen management within hospitality.
  • A hands-on approach and a clear understanding of the essential role kitchen porters play.
  • Strong organisational and people management skills with the ability to inspire your team.
  • Excellent knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Full UK driving licence (a company car will be provided).
