About

We’re recruiting an Estates Manager for one of the UK’s best-loved high street retailers — a multi-site health and beauty business with an ambitious expansion plan and a strong existing store portfolio across the UK&I.

If you’ve got experience managing property and facilities across a retail estate and know how to drive results through leadership, strong supplier management and commercial lease negotiation — this one’s for you.

About the Company

A fast-growing national retail chain in the health, beauty and cosmetics space, with hundreds of stores across the UK and big plans for the future — including new store openings on the horizon.

It’s a down-to-earth, close-knit culture, with strong leadership and a clear strategy. You’ll be stepping into a key role where you can make a real impact — from streamlining supplier models to driving the rollout of new stores.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the UK&I estate strategy across acquisitions, relocations, closures and refurbishments
  • Negotiate leases, rent reductions, renewals and commercial terms with landlords and agents
  • Oversee supplier management and contractor performance across facilities and property
  • Lead a capable team: Maintenance Lead & Coordinator + Store Design Manager
  • Optimise cost efficiency across contracts, service charges, rates, and utilities
  • Manage property compliance including health & safety and local authority requirements
  • Support continuous improvement in store environments with minimal disruption to trade
  • Maintain a clean, accurate property database for strategic planning and cost control
  • Travel approx. 50% of the time to sites across the UK&I estate

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience managing multi-site property, estates and facilities in a retail environment
  • Excellent supplier and contractor management skills — across trades, labour, FM & professional services
  • Confident lease negotiator — rent reviews, renewals, and commercial terms
  • Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset and hands-on approach
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence at senior level
  • Proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable working at pace

Package

  • Base Salary: £62,000 - £72,000+ negotiable on level of experience
  • Company Car + fuel card
  • Full benefits: pension, healthcare, generous holiday
  • Hybrid working
  • Travel 2-3 days per week across the UK, alternatively in the office on days when not in field
