We are looking for a skilled Control Panel Wirer/Machine Wirer to build bespoke machinery for our client in the Uttoxeter area.
This position can be either permanent or contract, depending on the applicant's preference.
Key responsibilities include building electrical panels, assembling hydraulic units, and performing simple PLC and drive connections.
Candidates should have proven experience in machine building or panel building, and the role may also involve basic mechanical duties like welding and spraying.
The salary for this position is competitive, and applicants should have relevant experience in the field.

We are seeking a skilled Control Panel Wirer/Machine Wirer to build bespoke machinery for our client based in the Uttoxeter area. This role can be a permanent or contract position to suit the applicant.

Responsibilities

Building electrical panels from schematics (20%)
Assembling hydraulic units (10%)
Assembling machines and sub assemblies (30%)
Simple PLC & drive connect and diagnose (10%)
Basic mechanical duties when required such as Welding (infrequent)
Spraying (infrequent)
Packing finished goods

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday 7:30am - 5:30pm OR 7:30am-5:00pm (2 days 4:30pm finish)

Required

Proven experience machine building/panel building
