Aspire People are currently working with a great school based in Derby DE6, on an exciting new Music long-term role starting after summer half term till the end of the school year.

The school are looking for an outstanding Music Teacher who can teach the subject predominantly in KS3 and some lessons in KS4.


The Role:
*You will be working 5 days a week delivering Key Stage 3-4 curriculum
*Deliver high-quality music lessons, engaging students in practical and theoretical aspects of music.
*Teach a range of musical instruments and genres, catering to students' diverse interests and abilities.
*Lead and support school music ensembles, fostering teamwork and musical collaboration.
Organize and participate in concerts, recitals, and other musical events, showcasing students' talents.
*Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the music curriculum and extracurricular activities.


What you will need:
* Qualified Teacher Status
* Proven experience teaching Music at Key Stage 3-4 is essential
* A creativity for teaching innovative and engaging lessons using a variety of materials and resources
* Excellent subject knowledge, communication skills and interpersonal skills
*Strong subject knowledge in music, with a comprehensive understanding of music theory and performance.
*Passion for music education and the ability to inspire students through engaging and innovative teaching methods.
*Proficiency in playing and teaching a variety of musical instruments.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
*Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
