The Team & Focus of the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager/Associate to join our Midlands Residential & Rural Agency Team, based in our modern Ashby de la Zouch office, with occasional cover being necessary within our Stafford and Market Harborough offices.

As a Sales Manager, you will have a proven track record in undertaking Market Appraisals and being able to efficiently/effectively grow a portfolio of properties for sale, through established networks and building an independent client base. The individual will be driven and have an excellent ability to build relationships and maintain the highest level of customer service. Ideally you should be used to working within Rural and Prime Property markets and be familiar with technically managing challenging/complex sales, while adhering to all necessary compliance.?

The Midlands Team is an experienced and dynamic group, well supported by our internal operations team, we are seeking a team player, who is also comfortable working independently when required. We operate across a broad geographical area, coving much of the Midlands, specialising in the sale of Rural and Prime Properties, together with land and auction sales. A willingness to travel is essential.

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 37.5 hours (Monday-Friday) with a requirement to work on a Saturday rota (1 in 3 rotation, maximum). Due to the nature of the role, we would require the successful applicant to be fully office based for the first few months (not including being on-site with clients), subject to review, occasional working from home will be considered.

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Working to targets and KPI’s
  • Appraising a broad range of rural and residential properties, to include land sales, and preparing them for marketing
  • Regular communication with clients
  • Undertaking property viewings
  • Negotiation and sales progression
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • ?Depending on experience, Line Management may be necessary

  • Previous estate agency experience and ability to demonstrate a strong track record of winning business, delivering first class client care, and delivering impressive sales results
  • Technically robust property knowledge
  • A strong understanding of necessary compliance
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills
  • Clear and professional communication skills with both written and verbal communication
  • Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • A results driven approach
  • A full UK driving licence and wiliness to travel
