Site Agent - Pipe Jacking Project (Packington, Ashby-de-la-Zouch)

Our client, a leader in the water infrastructure sector, is seeking an experienced Site Agent to join a major pipe jacking and shaft sinking project in Packington, Ashby-de-la-Zouch. This contract role is set to start on 26th January and will last for an initial 5 months, with the potential for an extension up to 12 months for Phase 2.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day site management, including supervising labour and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on project specifications and methods.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution.
  • Prepare and implement project plans and schedules.
  • Monitor progress and produce reports as required.

Job Requirements:

  • SMSTS
  • CSCS
  • Experience in water sector projects, particularly pipe jacking, auger bore, and shaft sinking.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Relevant engineering or construction qualification.
