Site Agent - Pipe Jacking Project (Packington, Ashby-de-la-Zouch)
Our client, a leader in the water infrastructure sector, is seeking an experienced Site Agent to join a major pipe jacking and shaft sinking project in Packington, Ashby-de-la-Zouch. This contract role is set to start on 26th January and will last for an initial 5 months, with the potential for an extension up to 12 months for Phase 2.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day site management, including supervising labour and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Provide leadership and guidance on project specifications and methods.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution.
- Prepare and implement project plans and schedules.
- Monitor progress and produce reports as required.
Job Requirements:
- SMSTS
- CSCS
- Experience in water sector projects, particularly pipe jacking, auger bore, and shaft sinking.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant engineering or construction qualification.
