Audit Compliance Officer40-50kSouth Kent – Office based roleMonday to Friday – 35 hours per week
Fantastic role working for a not-for-profit organisation based in Ashford as an Audit Compliance Officer. This is a senior role managing the performance of auditors and ensuring processes are followed. The ideal candidate will be data-driven with strong analytical skills.
Duties include:
- Oversee and guide a team of auditors, ensuring that audits comply with company guidelines, policies and procedures
- Drive continuous improvement in quality and performance within the audit team
- Track and assess the performance of the audit team
- Reviewing audit reports for quality and provide clear feedback to auditors
- Draft, review and revise documents and procedures
- Resolving any audit related queries
The successful candidate will have:
- A lead auditor certification
- Experience in a relevant role, ideally within a regulated sector such as pharmaceutical, medical devices, food production
- The ability to interpret and analyse complex technical standards and reports.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills, with the ability to assess data effectively
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English
- An exceptional attention to detail
- Familiarity with risk assessment processes and procedures
- An in-depth knowledge of ISO 19011 standards
To be at a distinct advantage when applying you will also have:
- Knowledge of ISO 17024 and ISO 17021
