We are hiring an Account Manager to join a successful digital technology company that supports leading brands in the publishing and content sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with two to five years’ experience who wants to grow in a professional, client-facing role - supporting major clients and contributing to a high-performing team.
This hybrid role requires 2 days per week (Tues & Weds) in the office located in Ashford, Kent.
What the role involves:
- Be the go-to contact for a group of key clients, building long-term, trusted relationships
- Understand both the company’s products and your clients’ businesses to build rapport and offer valuable guidance
- Manage client renewals and report on any upsell or growth opportunities
- Conduct regular account update meetings and calls, presenting insights and progress
- Track and follow up on any support tickets raised by your clients, ensuring resolution
- Work closely with the customer support, product, and development teams to ensure excellent service
- Take responsibility for client satisfaction, loyalty, and retention
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market developments, and your clients’ competitors
- Feed valuable client feedback into the Product team to support ongoing development
- Collaborate with other Account Managers to share best practices and improve team performance
- Build a working understanding of your clients' wider technology ecosystem and systems
What we are looking for:
- Two to five years' experience in account management, client success, or a similar role
- A confident communicator - comfortable leading meetings with platinum-level clients
- Professional, proactive, and organised - someone who follows through and keeps things moving
- Experience in the publishing, media, or SaaS/software industries is highly desirable
- A curious and collaborative mindset - keen to learn and contribute to a close-knit team
