CNC Operator

Our client is looking for a CNC Operator to join their company with immediate start available! As a CNC Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality components and parts using state-of-the-art computer numerical control (CNC) machinery.

Duties include:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations according to specifications.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machine setup, tool selection, and programming requirements.
  • Load materials into the machine and ensure proper alignment for accurate machining.
  • Monitor machine operations and adjust as necessary to maintain quality standards and productivity.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure their optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine malfunctions or programming errors.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and achieve production targets.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
  • Any other duties required.

The successful candidate will have / be:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator or similar role.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Ability to set up machines and select appropriate tools and materials.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
