Daniel Owen Recruitment are currently seeking experienced and reliable PTS Cleaners for an immediate start in Ashford. We are working in partnership with a leading facilities management company supporting the rail industry, and we are looking to expand our cleaning team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety across key locations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who hold a valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) card and are looking to work in a stable, supportive, and safety-focused environment. Whether you have experience in rail cleaning or come from a similar background in commercial or industrial cleaning, we want to hear from you.



Job Responsibilities:

  • Carry out general cleaning duties across trains, stations, platforms, and depots

  • Ensure that all areas are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and presentation

  • Use appropriate cleaning materials and equipment safely and effectively

  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures

  • Identify and report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors promptly

  • Follow site-specific cleaning schedules and instructions

  • Work independently and as part of a wider team to meet targets and deadlines



Requirements:

  • Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) card - Essential

  • Flexibility for weekend shifts
  • Previous cleaning experience required (rail experience is a strong advantage)

  • Good understanding of health and safety standards in a safety-critical environment

  • Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays

  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

  • Excellent timekeeping, reliability, and attention to detail
