Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Intervention Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Ashford. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering targeted interventions to help pupils reach their full potential, with a particular focus on literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about education and supporting children with varying learning needs.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group interventions in literacy, numeracy, and phonics.

  • Support pupils with additional learning needs, helping them engage positively with their learning.

  • Collaborate with class teachers and SEN staff to plan and deliver tailored support.

  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to staff and parents.

  • Create a supportive, safe, and inclusive environment for all learners.

Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a school setting or supporting children in education.

  • Knowledge of intervention strategies and supporting children with SEN is desirable.

  • A full UK driving licence (essential, due to school location).

  • A proactive, patient, and compassionate approach.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
