Intermediate Level Electrical Engineer

Kent

An established and growing building services consultancy is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join its dynamic engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to take the next step in their career, working on a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, and public sector project.



Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design of electrical building services systems for residential projects

  • Produce drawings and layouts using AutoCAD

  • Prepare calculations, specifications, and technical reports

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants

  • Support site visits and respond to design and construction queries



Essential Criteria

  • 3-4 years' experience in an electrical or building services engineering role

  • Degree or MSc in Building Services Engineering or completion of a relevant apprenticeship

  • Experience working on residential or mixed-use projects

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD

  • Good understanding of current building regulations and standards



Desirable Criteria

  • Consultancy background

  • Experience supporting projects through multiple RIBA stages

  • Interest in professional development and progression
