Our client is looking to add an Airfreight Export Coordinator to their new team located in Feltham. The client is a successful, modern Freight Forwarder.

This position is for an Airfreight Export Coordinator , the successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Air Exports.

Key Responsibilities • Manage air moves from start to finish, including inland transportation and haulage • Develop and build relationships to ensure a high level of customer service is provided to clients • Build strong working relationships with suppliers, airlines & overseas partners/agents • Input shipment and cost and sales • Communicate effectively with operations colleagues • Ensuring that a 'customer is king' ethos is always applied in actions for the business • Create and maintain customer standard operating procedures • Communication with overseas agents and clients is clear, precise and effective • Accurate & timely reporting to department Manager • Take ownership and accountability to deliver operational excellence • A 'can do’ attitude is applied with all communications • Creating operational reports and ensuring that anomalies are escalated appropriately • Exports - creation of airwaybills, labelling, per alerts to overseas partners and monitoring though to door • Ensuring that company policies and procedures are adhered to

Key Performance Areas • Response to clients is timely and accurate • Accurate and timely creation and issuance of deliveries and documentation. On Time delivery achieved. • Airline storage is avoided wherever possible • Freighting / Rating accuracy and timing meets the company policies • Costs and Sales are known, controlled and managed • Operational Reports and followed and anomalies escalated • Country specific requirements observed and applied

General Skills • Industry and operational knowledge of Airfreight - inbound, outbound, and cross trade • Able to cope and accustomed to working under pressure to meet fixed deadlines • Strong numerical and commercial skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Excellent attention to detail • Excellent usage of computer / operating system (Microsoft Windows) along with other office applications (Microsoft Office). Experience with Cargowise is preferable • Proactive, team worker with strong time management and organisation skills • Enthusiastic, flexible, and self-motivated • Weekend overtime rota - one in four weekends you will work 4 hours on a Saturday or Sunday. Can be done from home

Salary is up to £40k depending on experience. Excellent benefits

Hours are Monday to Friday 08:30 till 17:00
