Are you a seasoned Estimator with a solid track record in civil engineering, infrastructure, highways, or water projects? Ready to step into a long-term role with a contractor that values collaboration, technical integrity, and steady growth?
 
We're supporting a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of work across the UK as they expand their pre-construction team in Birmingham. This is a key permanent opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join a business that delivers technically challenging projects across a broad range of sectors.
 
The Opportunity:
As Estimator, you'll work closely with senior leadership, pre-construction and delivery teams to prepare accurate and commercially competitive tenders. You'll contribute strategic insight to every bid - going beyond cost plans to consider risk, methodology, and value engineering. This is a business where your voice is heard, and your input matters from day one.

What You'll Need:
·Background in civil engineering, infrastructure or related sectors
·Estimating experience with a Tier 2 or reputable regional contractor
·Solid understanding of construction methodologies and commercial drivers
·Confident producing first-principles estimates and building up costs
·Strategic thinker with a proactive and collaborative mindset
·Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction Management
·Comfortable liaising with clients, designers, and delivery teams
