Wireperson required for a manufacturer of engineering machinery based in Ashford.
Wireperson Job Overview- Complete assembly of industrial electrical panels including mounting and wiring of all electrical components
- Preparation of equipment for testing and assisting engineering department with tests
- Machine and factory maintenance and installation
The successful applicant will be working on production equipment much of which, being customer specific, is for one off manufacture.
Wireperson Job Requirements- Ability to work independently to Bill of Materials and electrical schematic
- 17th or 18th edition qualification
- At least 5 years wiring experience
Desirable skills include:
- Wiring experience in an industrial assembly setting
- This is a full time position of 37 hours per week, working 08.00 - 16.30 Monday to Thursday, and 08.00 to 13.00 Friday.
- Contributory pension scheme, 5 weeks holiday and flexible working hours.
- Salary dependent on experience likely £30k-£35k
