Woodwork Operative

Location: Outskirts of Ashford (must drive due to location)

Contract: Temporary to permanent

Salary: 12.28 + over time available paid at higher rates

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-5:45pm, finishing at 4:15pm on Fridays

Duties:

• As a Wood Cutter, you will be responsible for using saws and machinery to cut reject pieces of wood, to be reused in the assembly process.
• Due to the size of the business, you will have the opportunity to be trained in other areas, such as assembly.

We'd love to speak to candidates who have:

• Comfortable with physical, manual work. Must be able to lift up to 25kg.
• Must have previous experience using handheld tools, assembly, production, woodwork or labouring.
• Safety boots and hi-vis attire will be required for this role.
• Counterbalance forklift desirable.
