  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Computer Science or related field

  • Experience teaching Computer Science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 experience desirable)

  • A strong understanding of programming, algorithms, computer systems, and digital literacy

  • A proactive approach to teaching with excellent classroom management

  • Strong communication skills and a positive, adaptable attitude

  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging Computer Science lessons

  • Teaching students how to think computationally and solve problems creatively

  • Using a variety of teaching methods to support a range of learning styles

  • Monitoring, assessing, and tracking student progress

  • Promoting digital responsibility and online safety in the classroom
