Are you a passionate Psychology Graduate eager to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young individuals? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Psychology Graduate to work at a secondary school in the Ashford area supporting a student with SEN. This role will be an immediate start until the end of the academic year. The daily rate will be between £90 and £110 depending on experience.
The Role:
- Work on a 1-1 basis with a student understanding their needs and tailoring support accordingly
- Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
- Provide support and mentorship to help the student navigate any personal or academic challenges
- Address behavioural issues and promote positive interactions within school
Requirements:
- Must hold a Psychology Degree
- Strong communication skills
- Empathy and sensitivity to the needs of the student
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of the student
- Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- Legal right to work in the UK
