TeacherActive are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in the Rochester area to recruit a committed Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 class from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team and make a meaningful impact in a vibrant classroom setting.

As a Teaching Assistant in Year 3, your key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons.

• Working 1:1 and in small groups with pupils to boost learning outcomes.

• Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.

• Helping to prepare learning materials and resources.

• Supporting pupils with varying needs, including those with additional learning needs (SEND).

• Encouraging positive social interactions and helping pupils to build confidence.

• Providing regular feedback to the class teacher on pupil progress.

• Supporting school activities and outings where required.

• Experience working with primary-aged children (ideally KS2).

• A genuine passion for education and helping young people thrive.

• Adaptable, patient, and enthusiastic approach.

• Ability to build strong relationships with children and staff.

• Relevant qualifications or a background in education (desired but not essential).
