Location: Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS
Start Date: ASAP

Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of planning policies and strategies.

  • Ensure policies align with local and national regulations.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather input and feedback.

  • Oversee the preparation of reports and presentations.

  • Manage a team of planning professionals.

  • Represent the council at meetings and public events.

Person Specifications
Must Have

  • Experience as a Town Planner.

  • Strong leadership and management skills.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

  • Knowledge of planning legislation and policies.

  • Ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a similar role within a council or public sector.

  • Advanced degree in urban planning or related field.

  • Familiarity with local community issues.
