Shift Engineer – Multi-skilled – Rotating Day Shifts / Double Days – Competitive Salary

If you’re the kind of engineer who knows how to get production moving and keep it moving, this one’s got your name all over it.

This is a food manufacturing site in Kent (no, not the shiny head-office type – the kind where kit breaks, lines stop, and people actually need you). They’re looking for a Shift Engineer to work across electrical and mechanical systems – supporting everything from packing lines to wastewater plants.

The work is varied. You could be fixing conveyors one minute and dealing with cooling towers the next. You’ll be the go-to on shift, often working independently, so if you’re used to having full site responsibility – great.

You’ll need a relevant apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in engineering maintenance, solid PLC fault-finding ability, and strong knowledge of BS 7671 (17th/18th Edition).

Rotating shift pattern. Good team. No babysitting. Just real engineering.
