As an Engineer, this role is responsible for the reactive, preventative and planned repair and maintenance to all onsite plant. All these works must be conducted in a safe manner. This includes areas such as packing hall productions lines, dry & cold stores, site facilities including the cooling tower & production wastewater plant) and refrigeration equipment, ensuring safe efficient operation. Potentially working as the only engineer on a shift with full responsibly for the engineering elements onsite working along the Production Shift Supervisor.

1 x Night Shift £56,708.52 40 hours per week – Sunday – Thursday 22.00 – 06.00

2 x Double Days £42,972.8  40 hours per week Week 1 - Monday  - Friday 06.00 – 14.00 Week 2 – Monday – Friday 14.00 – 22.00

What do you need? 

• Approved UK engineering apprenticeship scheme

• 17 / 18th BS 7671 Electrical wiring regulations

• Fault finding experience on PLC’s / Scada / Power & Control circuits / Pneumatics / Mechanical drive conveyor systems.

• Computer literate (Word / Excel etc.)

• MEWP/IPAF licences. (current)

• Experience in food manufacturing packing /weighing and vertical sealers - highly desirable
