Factory Manager
South Kent
£40k - £45k DOE
Monday-Friday
A rare opportunity for a Factory Manager to join my client’s well-established organisation in South Kent. If you have previous experience working as a Production Manager or Factory Manager and are looking for a newand excitingrole, then this could be the role for you!
As a Factory Manager, you will be:
- Managing all aspects of production including the creation of production plans, organising the production schedule, and allocating workload.
- Working closely with the senior management team.
- Leading the production team and ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Looking at ways to increase productivity and reducing costs.
- Authorising annual leave , conducting disciplinaries, return to work, and other documentation.
- Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Organising routine maintenance and repairs on Factory equipment and plant machinery.
- Any other duties required.
The successful Factory Manager will have / be:
- Previous experience working within a Managerial role in a manufacturing environment.
- Able to work to lean manufacturing and 5S principles.
- The ability to bring new initiatives and ideas to contribute towards further company growth.
- Able to create effective production plans whilst being cost effective.
- The ability to lead a large team.
- A full UK driving licence.
