A thriving one-form-entry primary school in Ashford is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team from September 2025 until at least Christmas. Your new role

This role is on a full-time basis and will be suited to those who have a flair for Key Stage 2 teaching. The school will be looking for someone with a strong passion for the later years teaching in primary schools. The successful candidate will have routine day-to-day classroom responsibilities along with working with other teachers in the school to form a collaborative team. If you are a teacher whose strengths lie in the Key Stage 2 area, then this is the role for you!

The role is initially from September until Christmas. However, there is the possibility for the role to either extend or become permanent, reliant upon certain criteria. For the role to become permanent, the employed Teacher will become the Religious Education Lead for the school. Due to being a Catholic school, they are required by the diocese to employ a practising Catholic.

What you'll need to succeed

  • You should have experience in a classroom in the UK.
  • Experience of teaching Upper Key Stage 2
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a UK Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum
