Responsibilities of our Supply Primary Teacher:

  • Confident delivery of high-quality teaching to students across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 – flexibility to pick and choose your preferred key stage or year groups
  • Implementing lesson plans provided by the school or creating engaging lesson plans as required – planning is not required unless agreed in advance with the school for longer-term assignments
  • Demonstrate adaptability, classroom presence and good management of classroom behaviour
  • Create a positive learning environment for students, bringing enthusiasm and flexibility to new teaching environments

Requirements of our Primary Supply Teacher:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised in the UK
  • Recent teaching experience in a primary school and confident delivering lessons in KS1 or KS2.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Willingness to work in and travel to a variety of schools
  • Availability to work at short-notice or pre-booked cover
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
